I am passionate about supporting people to experience a richer, more fulfilling life and healthier relationships with themselves and others. It is deeply humbling and inspiring to witness moments when someone begins to feel truly at home in themselves, discovering their own voice and the freedom to make choices that reflect who they are. Difficult experiences can leave lasting marks, but with support, people can face what happened, process how they feel and reclaim agency, choice, and a sense of freedom that transforms not just their inner world, but their everyday life. Being present for these changes is an extraordinary privilege, and it is this that fuels my dedication to this work.
I am drawn to Humanistic therapy because it reflects something I believe deeply: that every person has value, and that change happens when we are met with honesty, empathy, and respect. In my work, I weave together Person-Centred, Gestalt, and Transactional Analysis, but more than any technique, it’s the relationship that matters most to me. I don’t see therapy as abstract analysis, it is two people meeting, with curiosity and care, to make sense of what hurts and to open up space for new possibilities. My focus is on being present with each person, attuned to their feelings and thoughts, and providing a space where they can be truly seen and understood, without expectation or pressure. I have an interest in relationship issues and trauma, which can sometimes manifest as persistent anxiety or depression. I also see how people carry adaptations from past experiences that once helped them survive, but now feel limiting, unfulfilling and exhausting. Alongside my private practice, I have worked in charities supporting survivors of domestic abuse and people facing bereavement and traumatic grief. I also worked as a Mental Health Advocate at the Roehampton Priory, supporting people navigating acute mental health challenges. These experiences taught me about resilience, and the profound importance of being truly heard and safe, reinforcing my commitment to trauma-informed, ethical, and collaborative work.
I am also deeply committed to being a neurodiversity-affirmative practitioner. Over time, I’ve seen how often Autistic and ADHD clients carry experiences of being misunderstood, feeling ashamed of who they are, and masking desperately in order to survive. Too often, difference is misconstrued and pathologised by those who don’t understand. Living in a world designed for and guided by the neurotypical experience, neurodivergent people can end up living outside of their authentic self, which can have a significant psychological impact. Unfortunately, these dynamics can also be reenacted in therapeutic spaces and cause harm instead of helping. I am passionate about creating spaces where people can be fully themselves, without judgment or pressure to conform. I am neurodivergent myself so I really understand what it’s like. For me, working affirmatively with neurodivergent clients is not an “add-on,” but an expression of genuineness in my commitment to authenticity, care, and respect that underpins my work.
I trained at the Metanoia Institute, completing a Certificate in Therapeutic Counselling Skills and Studies, followed by a three-year Diploma in Humanistic Psychotherapeutic Counselling. I am currently undertaking an MSc. to further deepen my practice. I am a registered member of BACP and ACC, and I’m committed to working ethically, responsibly and with care. I have professional indemnity insurance, and ICO license, and an Enhanced DBS. I invest in regular supervision and CPD so that my practice continues to deepen and evolve. Recently, I’ve undertaken additional training in autism and disability, so that I can better support people whose experiences are often misunderstood or overlooked. I am passionate about learning and each new learning opportunity helps me remain thoughtful, curious, and able to offer the best possible support for the people I work with.
I am originally from Poland, grew up in Ireland, and have lived in the UK for over a decade. I’ve also had the privilege to travel around the world and learn from many different cultures. These contexts are an important part of who I am, and they inform the openness and curiosity I bring to my practice. I speak English and Polish fluently and am happy to work with clients in either language.
