Hello, and welcome

Taking the first step can feel daunting. You do not have to take it alone.

Between the vulnerability of needing support and the challenge of finding someone you can trust, it is understandable to feel unsure about beginning therapy. I offer a warm, accepting relationship where you can feel heard, respected and supported without judgement.

Our work is collaborative. Together, we gently explore what is happening beneath the surface, make sense of patterns and open up new possibilities—always at a pace and in a way that respects who you are.

How therapy can help

Room for the whole of your experience.

You may arrive with a clear concern or simply a feeling that something needs to change. We can begin with what feels most important now.

01

Relationships & recurring patterns

Explore boundaries, needs and relationship dynamics that leave you feeling stuck, unseen or disconnected.

02

Neurodivergent-affirming therapy

Support for Autistic and ADHD clients, including masking, burnout, rejection sensitivity, late diagnosis and self-trust.

03

Emotional wellbeing & life experiences

A thoughtful space for anxiety, depression, trauma, bereavement, shame, self-criticism and difficult transitions.

“We think we listen, but very rarely do we listen with real understanding, true empathy. Yet listening, of this very special kind, is one of the most potent forces for change that I know.”

— Carl Rogers

My therapeutic approach

Natural, conversational and shaped around you.

My style has a genuine, organic quality. I see you as the expert in your own life and work with empathy, curiosity and respect to help you uncover your own wisdom and resources.

As a Humanistic Psychotherapist, I integrate three modalities. We may work creatively, use visual ideas and present-moment exploration, or take a more structured route using clear models and concepts. The approach is adapted to your preferences, goals and processing style.

Frequently asked questions

A little clarity before you reach out.

It is natural to have questions about therapy. Open any question for a straightforward answer, or contact me if there is something else you would like to ask.

Ask me directly
How do psychotherapy and counselling work?

They are evidence-based forms of talking therapy that offer a confidential, non-judgemental space to understand your emotional and relational experiences, process difficult feelings and discover ways forward that are right for you.

How do I know if I really need therapy?

Therapy is not only for moments of crisis. It can help when you feel stuck, want to understand yourself more deeply, improve relationships or move from simply coping towards feeling more connected and fulfilled.

How long are sessions and how often do we meet?

Sessions last 50 minutes and usually take place weekly at an agreed time. I offer short- and long-term therapy. Because the work is relational, I do not currently offer fortnightly or monthly sessions.

Is everything I say confidential?

Therapy is confidential. There are a small number of ethical and legal exceptions, such as a serious risk of harm, which I will explain clearly when we begin working together.

How do you adapt therapy for neurodivergent clients?

I prioritise your goals, communication preferences and processing style. We can adjust seating, lighting, structure and session tools, and may use visual, creative or non-linear approaches when these help.

What if therapy does not feel like it is working?

You are encouraged to tell me when something does not feel right. We can explore what you need, adjust our way of working and decide together what will best support you.
